Wonderful station! I sometimes produce hip hop/ jazz laced tracks for local artists and friends, and I've always been told my beats were real chill, all of them! Not that the artists didn't like what they heard, but more so what I was creating would probably be better suited in another genre such as "Alternative" hip hop. Then I found your station. The tracks you play remind me of tracks I'd create, for peeps to vibe and chillout to. So listening is not only pleasurable, but it also inspires me to continue producing, knowing that now there's a whole genre and listeners who really dig it! Thanks, and keep up the good work. I listen daily and have referred numorous peeps to your site. Peace!

For well over a year I've thoroughly enjoyed your station's music, and I listen to it often. It makes me happy. So much so I'd really like to donate some cash, but I can't due to economic factors. So I listen more even more while I address those economic factors. Thank you very much for the happiness you send. I hope to return your kindness and happiness one day.

Big thanks for the great music. As much as I listen to [Jet City Lounge] at the office and at home, a donation to the cause is the least I can do!

I have [Jet City Lounge] to thank for having introduced me to many fantastic artists that I'd never have heard otherwise. I was introduced fairly recently to chillout, although once I heard it, I knew it was the sound I'd been looking for. I always liked fusion back in college (Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever, Weather Report, et. al.), and my first love has always been rock, but about a year or two ago I was taking the day off from work, and I flipped on the music channel on DirecTV called "Sounds of the Season" (they played Christmas carols in December, and Irish music at St Patrick's Day, and the same for all the other holidays). In between holidays, however, they played downtempo, chillout, nu jazz stuff - all programed by some outfit in NYC called Music Choice (PS: DirecTV just switched over to XM Radio this month - no more chillout!). The minute I heard it I was hooked. I knew THAT was the sound I was looking for. I did an internet search and came up with [a web radio directory], which led me to [Jet City Lounge], and the rest is history.

I really appreciate what you're doing, and it has helped me to discover more great music than I ever thought existed out there. Thanks again, and please keep up the great work!

Hey guys, just wanted to say that your station rules and i don't know how i'd get through my day at work without it. there are some other good ambient stations on [a web radio directory] but none with quite the same flavor as [Jet City Lounge]. many of the others also seem to repeat their songs but i haven't noticed that on [Jet City Lounge]. i'm a UW husky alumni living in southern california and the music on your station sometimes takes me back to my rainy days in seattle. anyway, just wanted to say thanks and i really appreciate your station and its' music.

I've been collecting "chill" compilations for years now. My first exposure to chill was a compilation called "Abstract Vibes". I later picked up "Abstract Vibes 2".

My local Smooth Jazz station here in the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT), WQCD CD 101.9 FM, changed their name to "New York Chill". They began playing "chill out" music along with their current servings of Smooth Jazz. They played 30% chill out and 70% Smooth Jazz. Their selection of chill out was interesting but not as broad as what you play.

Eventually they dropped the chill music but kept saying they were New York's "Chill Out" station.

I then began doing a search on Google for a stream of "chill out" music and I discovered [Groovera Chilled Web Radio]. I'm glad I did. I was thrilled! I'm a fan and contributor for life!

I also understand your situation and felt it was my duty to lend a hand. As a semi-retired musician/DJ I know projects like [Groovera Chilled Web Radio] come from the heart.

Keep the faith.

What a remarkable station. As a fellow broadcaster of jazz and talk on traditional radio I can appreciate quality when I hear it. You have something very special here. Right now I am using it as background for a book I am writing....and it's the perfect mix for putting my body, soul and mind in the right frame of mind to be creative. Please do keep me in the loop as you continue to develop new thoughts and concepts utilizing this and other mediums. If you can utilize my voice over talent....I'd be happy to contribute. Well done! I am deeply intrigued by the music that this station plays. It's downtempo and egnimatic noise is definitely something that one should take their sweet time to enjoy. I can't seem to find any radio stations like this one in particular outside the web. Does [Groovera Chilled Web Radio] have a non-web radio station? Can you guys please expand so that "[Groovera Chilled Web Radio]" becomes a radio station outside the web? I would really like to listen to "the world's purest chillout" Ambient sounds right in my car!

Thank you in advance to have read about what I had to say. I am a proud fan. Keep up the good work.

First of all I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for developing a desperately-needed internet radiostream in the midst of a demographic pop-culture crisis. I've been listening for about 2 months and now call myself an "ex-Soma FM" junkie. BeatBlender, Secret Agent, and Groove Salad all offered a piece of pleasure for me, but nothing close to what [Jet City Lounge] has provided.

If [Jet City Lounge] has become anything of a money pit for your budget, it is because of the extremely grateful people such as myself, and I honor you for your efforts. Here's $15 as a very very small token of my appreciation, "Defining my lifestyle in compressed audio format".

I've recently discovered this station through [a web radio directory], and have to say I'll be a regular listener from now-on. Furthermore, the site is musically informative and the quotator was a cool idea too!

peace!!!

Thanks for what I refer to as the best internet radio station. I just found your station about a week ago, previously enjoying Digitally Imported as well as Groove Salad. I am planning on making a contribution to your station very soon... as well as purchase an item or two from the gift shop. I often listen to your station for hours while doing things around the house. Thank you so much for providing this eclectic mix to a true music lover.

I have the opportunity to listen to your station both at hone and at work. You broadcast at a good strength and since my office is in the middle of a concreste cavern, the internet is the only way to go. The music is wonderful. It not too heavy nor does it put you to sleep during the day. It's also great when reading a book.

Found your station yesterday and it's been playing pretty much ever since.

Your selections are great and nicely blended.

You have the most succinct explanations of connections and thank you for the advice about mp3PRO. I keep your homepage up so I can come back and check them out for tunes I like.

You should consider adding a generic link to Amazon on the contribute page. I buy stuff there and would happily send the partnership credits to you.

This is the most PERFECT station I've ever tuned into! Relaxing, without boring, NEVER the same day twice. ALWAYS makes me feel happy and upbeat. Has inspired me to BUY cd's of artists I'd never hear of otherwise. Standard radio has a lot to learn. Thank you.

We stream daily the [Jet City Lounge] grooves at the Cafe of Life in Boulder, CO. Our staff loves the romance of the downtempo and acid jazz. ...All of us here at the Cafe love to hear the streams from [Jet City Lounge] in our music mixes (more than somafm and loungeradio!). This evening we contributed $50 via your paypal acct to help keep the music flowing. Thanks for the AMAZING site!

Tim, all I can say is W0W! I am like a ditto of you except I am down here in the Mesa/Phoenix AZ area. I have had pretty much the same experiences as you just with more of the telecom side but still inclusive with web stuff for the last decade. I am so proud of you and your site and for all that it stands for!
